140510 - Swissport Manchester’s skills recognised

Another historical moment sees Swissport Manchester assist Manchester Airport in the handling and relocation of its latest exhibit to join the attractions at the Aviation Viewing Park.
The Royal Air Force are donating a soon to be decommissioned Nimrod (maritime patrol aircraft) to the Viewing Park to stand alongside the British Airways Concorde. The aircraft arrived at Manchester Airport in April and will be moved into its final resting place by our Swissport team on 25th May 2010. This will be joint effort with the Manchester Airport Group and the Royal Air Force.
Michelle Norton, General Manager Swissport Manchester - “We are proud to be associated with this historic aircraft and proud that the skills and dedication of our staff have been recognised once again”.
