One of our five values, Safety, recently came into the spotlight when Swissport UK joined RoSPA, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. The intention of this membership is to work closely with RoSPA to further improve our safety standards. RoSPA`s mission, ‘To save lives and reduce injuries’, ties in closely with our own corporate values and this union is a logical step in ultimately enhancing the safety of our employees across the whole of the business.

This charity brings with it many functions including the promotion of key safety issues and providing services which are relevant to our industry. Coupled to this sees campaigning, data collection, research and informing and educating. Add auditing and expert consultancy to the mix, and it is clear to see why Swissport UK are delighted with this union.

“RoSPA is an international recognised safety organisation which provides valuable assistance and support to organisations such as ours, we are proud to be associated with RoSPA,” commented Andrew Fox, our Health & Safety Manager, Swissport UK. Ever ambitious, he adds, “It is our intention to apply for the annual safety awards next year.”
